HHC Quality & Safety - What You Need to Know

Not all HHC is created equal.

For every honest, quality-driven brand offering HHC products online today, countless others are selling inferior and possibly unsafe products. Unfortunately, some products marketed online as pure HHC aren’t hemp-derived at all and are illegal and potentially dangerous.

Other products consumers often purchase online contain high Delta-8 THC or Delta-9-THC levels (also illegal).

We’re committed to providing you with genuinely high-quality HHC.

You can feel confident purchasing Forge Hemp Co HHC products for several reasons, including:

We blend pure HHC with premium cannabis-derived terpenes. In addition, we use exceptional vape hardware from Blinc, and our HHC gummies, syringes, and pucks are second-to-none. Simply put, there are no better HHC products on the market - we guarantee it.

Our HHC supplier, Colorado Chromatography, is the only trusted HHC producer in the nation. Colorado Chromatography has HHC manufacturing method patents, and they continually engage in rigorous ongoing testing and research.

We currently ship Forge Hemp Co HHC products to all US states and territories except Oregon. All orders over $50 qualify for fast, free shipping.

You can trust a transparent business. That’s why we make our lab results and COAs (Certificate of Analysis) publicly available. Do you have questions about our HHC products or HHC in general? Reach out to us at info@forgehemp.com. We’re always happy to help.

Here's what you need to know to stay safe purchasing HHC online.

  • Don’t purchase HHC from sources that don’t – or won’t – provide you with a COA (Certificate of Analysis) from a reputable third-party lab authorized to accurately identify and measure HHC potency, such as KCA Laboratories and Gobi Analytical.
  • Ensure the COA features a QR code linked to the testing lab’s website. When you scan the QR code, the presented COA should be identical to the one posted by the seller. The client name on a COA should be your seller, and there should be no redacted or blurred fields.
  • Pure HHC, without added terpenes or other blended ingredients, should have 98%+ 9R-HHC and 9S-HHC. There may be trace amounts of Delta-8 THC present (less than 0.3%) and trace minor cannabinoids, such as CBN or CBC. A COA for HHC products should not show significant percentages of “unknown cannabinoids,” or THC or minor cannabinoids unless advertised as intentionally added ingredients.

Unfortunately, according to the experts at KCA Laboratories, less-scrupulous brands are labeling (and selling) products with different chemical structures as “HHC.”

Not only is this practice sneaky and confusing, but it also has the potential to cause real trouble.

While HHC has been studied for safety in humans and animals since its discovery in the 1940s, knockoff compounds haven’t undergone this testing.

As a result, these falsely labeled compounds will disappoint consumers and may even violate the 2018 Farm Bill that makes it legal to enjoy hemp products like genuine HHC.
